2009-2010 Alma Mater Society Councillor- Chair of the Academic Quality Committee, which examined common academic issues from across campus and was composed of Senators and AMS Councillors
- Professional, vocal, and respected voice on Council
2009-2010 President of the EUS
- Represented the official voice of the EUS to faculty, student groups, and external organizations
- Initiated and completed an intensive consultative process to create a five-year vision statement for the Society
- Lead negotiator and student fundraiser for the Engineering Student Centre (a new $5.2 mil student-run building)
2008-2009 Vice President Academic for the EUS
- professionally represents students, individually and collectively, to the faculty on academic issues
- initiated, improved, and formalized channels for student academic advocacy
- introduced an EUS scholarship to directly return $3000 of student fees to members
- co-organized two faculty-funded Beef & Pizza events
- championed the voice campaign to better solicit student feedback

Dragonfly Instruments
- Co-founded start-up venture in January 2009
- Conducted technical research into creating a new field device that measures water quality with laboratory-grade accuracy and has the potential to revolutionize the water-quality testing field
- Interviewed engineering firms across Canada and conducted additional market research in environmental consulting
- Performed initial successful experimental trials of prototype (Nymph)
- Placed 1st at Enterprize Canada, a national business plan competition for new ventures
- Placed 3rd at the Western Engineering Competition, Innovative Design category and have advanced to the Canadian Engineering Competition on behalf of UBC
